Reed Diffusers
Candlemazing Reed Diffusers are a great way to add fragrance to your home without lighting a candle or using electric wax warmers. They add constant fragrance to your home as the diffuser reeds soak up the fragrance oil and disperse the scent into the air. They last until all the fragrance oil evaporates. Diffusers work really well in places where you always want it to smell nice but can't keep watch on a candle flame..
Basically they are simply liquid air fresheners in a narrow-necked bottle with long "sticks" inserted in to the liquid. These sticks, or reeds, absorb scented liquid from the container and release fragrance into the surrounding air. Currently we offer Egyptian Amber fragrance and Caribbean Mist.
How do they work?
Reed diffusers are a simple mixture of a base solution and fragrance oil poured into a glass bottle.
Typically, rattan reeds are placed into the mixture to draw the solution up. The solution then evaporates into the air leaving the aroma molecules behind for you to smell.
That's it!
The more reeds you add to the mixture, the stronger the scent. Each package contains 8 reeds, we suggest starting with 4 to 6 reeds to test the strength of the scent to your satisfaction and as more reeds for a stronger fragrance.
Keep in mind that a diffuser with lots of reeds will not last as long as a diffuser with fewer reeds. See our Reed Diffuser Tips, Instructions and Warnings for more information below.
The Reed Diffuser sticks we use are made from high-quality, all-natural rattan reeds responsibly harvested and sourced from Indonesia. Each reed is precision cut to avoid crushing the channels that carry the solution up to the top and to ensure you get a great fragrance throw. You can use as many or few as you like; the more reeds you add, the more scent you will have, but the mixture will not last as long. Typically 6 to 8 reeds can last approximately 3 months.

» Our reed diffuser base quickly and easily flows up the reeds allowing the fragrance to reach its strongest potential.
» Our fragrances are phthalate-free and paraben free. All fragrances are considered vegan friendly and have not been tested on animals. None of our fragrances contain any animal by-products, and are a combination of natural essential oils and synthetic aroma chemicals. They also adhere to the strict RIFM and IFRA standards regarding fragrance safety.
» Our diffuser reeds are made from high quality, responsibly harvested rattan reeds. The reeds are 3mm in diameter to allow for maximum flow, or “wicking,” of the reed diffuser oil. The reeds are imported from Indonesia.
» The reeds we purchase are cut in a clean manner with a sharp blade. Without a sharp, clean cut, the 20+ cells that make up the reed get compressed and aren’t able to carry the fragrance to the top of the reed. Our reeds are precision-cut on specialized equipment to ensure a clean cut every time and allow the reed to diffuse lots of fragrance.
Directions:
Place as many Diffuser Reeds in a jar or bottle of reed diffuser oil as you'd like. We recommend starting with 4 to 6 reeds, but you may choose to add more to increase the strength of the fragrance. Know that the more reeds you use, the more fragrance is released, and the quicker the liquid is used up.
The reeds can take overnight to soak up the scent and disperse into the air. Larger areas or rooms may take additional time. Tip: Fragrance should last up to approximately 90 days, flip the reeds every week or two to refresh.

- Do not ingest the liquid, Diffuser oils should not be ingested. If ingested please seek medical advice as soon as possible.
- Diffuser base can cause skin irritation.
- Avoid placing in areas where the bottle can be knocked over, it can damage surfaces if spilled.
